What time of year should I plan to seal my asphalt?
Sealing the asphalt surface is best done in warmer temperatures to ensure proper bonding. We recommend an ideal range of 75–100°F, with overnight temperatures no lower than 50°F.
How do you clean before you seal?
We use a combination of high-powered air, vacuum sweeper trucks, blowers, and brooms. When needed, we can also remove weeds and debris.
How long will it last?
Seal Coat can last up to 10 years if cared for with regular cleaning and light traffic. There are many variables to consider when predicting the lifespan of sealers but we offer a very robust sealer that commonly sees a 6-7 year lifespan.
How long do I need to close down the sealed area before we can drive on it again?
Our sealer can often be driven on and reopened to traffic after about 10 hours. While we typically recommend waiting overnight for a full cure, we can make special arrangements if a faster turnaround is needed.
